Project Ele by Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nukels

Author: Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nuckels

Pages: 231(ebook) 338(paperback)

Stars:  ****

Overview: Millions have died and many more are dying. To preserve the human race project ELE is put into place. Since the earth is heating up fast people are sent to F.E.M.A shelters. Willow is a 15 year old girl who must adapt to her new life inside the shelter. She has to make new friends, work full time, and have her first relationship. After coming across some interesting things Willow and her friends begin to have strange abilities. Willow and her friends sat out to solve what these new abilities means but there may be a price to pay.

My review: Willow is a like able teen who finds out that living inside won't just be a joy ride. She most work now and go to school. This book had some funny points and a small amount of sad points. The book totally took a turn that i didn't see coming. The ending makes you feel that you need to read the next book who you will be kind of lost. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure if I like it or not. while there was a point where I could not put the book down and was laughing out loud the turn it took was just kind of different in my opinion. I think the ending is what made me confused and I don't know why. The ending kind of left you hanging I guess that's why their are more books to be read.

United we spy by Allay Carter (book review)

Author: Ally Carter
pages: 293
Stars: *****
Overview: Cammie and her friends finally know why the Circle of Cavan has been hunting her. Now with that knowledge the spy girls and Zach must track down the leaders and stop they before they implement a master plan that will change Cammie and her country forever. The Gallagher girls have grown up. Cammie's memories are still a little foggy but that does not stop her ability to stand for what is right and what she believes in. Cammie and her friends go through a roller coaster of attacks and emotions. It starts  off with Cammie and her mom undercover tracking one circle leader. Only to be attacked by the unforgettable Catherine Goode. This is the start of many more attacks from Circle members. In the mist of it all Cammie and her friends must decide what they want to do with the rest of there lives. Because graduation is right around the corner.

My review: I absolutely love Ally Carter writing. You hang on by every word and never want to put down the book. But you have too. From the start of the book to the end I was excited to see what was going to happen. Each character grow up to be strong girls/guys. I have grown with this book and I love how each year the girls grow as well. United we spy had a lot of action that kept you wanting more. Big secrets where reviled that I didn't see coming. Special moments are going to happen and sad ones where you think people are going to die. Page 285 holds one of my favorite quotes from Zach "I will never see you again". I wont tell you why I love it so much or who he was saying it too,but when you read it you might get why I loved it. But to be honest I don't really know why this made me laugh so hard. Read the book and you will fall in love with the Gallagher girls all over again.

If you read this book let me know what you thought and InshaAllah I will back with another post. Assalmualkium

Outcome by Edward W. Robertson

Author: Edward W. Robertson

Chapters: 11

Pages: 205

Series: BREAKERS

Stars: ***

Ella is the agent of the Department of Advance Analysis. She is one person who knows of the spread of a new virus and she believes it will wipe out mankind. Her boss doesn't believe her so she go to New York to get her ex but he's been quarantined along with is daughter.

The story starts with Ella talking to her boss about what she believes the virus outcome will become. He doesn't believe her so she flees to New York. When she gets to New York she goes on this adventure to get to her ex but when she gets to him he doesn't want to go without his daughter. The real adventure begins once they leave the hospital and go look for his daughter. Along the way they run from the FBI, search  hospitals, dodge sick people and a whole lode of other things.  I give this book 3 stars because it took forever it seemed like to get to the point. The story line of a mankind killing virus was great but this story didn't give that feeling. It focused  to much on trying to get to his daughter that it didn't tell us about the virus that much. I wanted to feel like the virus was really killing people. With seem insight on the symptoms of the victims. Yes it told us some but it lack the feeling of the virus.

I have been in school for one week now. So far it has been good but it is only the first week. So it will pick up very soon. I think the way he teaches is going to help me a lot. The only thing that has me stress is not having a computer & having to read my book on there since I don't have a hard copy yet. Other then that all is good.

Helen is on a mission to find the murderer.

My review:

This was a predictable book. I could tell you who the killer was by the time the wedding started.  Maybe its because I read alot of mysteries but it was just to easy. It was a good book over all. Some of Miguel's clients you wanted to personal go in there in hurt them for him. Helen her soon to be husband were lovable and so was her friend/landlady. The end was not that good I wish it ended different, but what can I do. I plan on reading the next one just to see what happens. I give this book 4 stars.Read it and let me know what you thought.

The lust Garden By. Billy Jolie

Author: Billy Jolie

Pages: 300

Chapters: 41

Description : Gianna Salvani is the girl everyone loves to hate. She has fame, fortune and beauty. But she is an insecure girl who longs for her farther she lost years ago. She has a new film in the making and a debut album coming out. When a secret is exposed her world takes a big turn. Because a obsessed killer has plans for Gianna.
My review: Gianna is a typical Hollywood girl. She has it all. A friend goes with her everywhere and people who want to hurt her. This book looks into the lives of different characters who lives are interwoven. Billy Jolie writs in great vivid detail. He makes you fell like you're a part of the story. There is a lot of vivid detail about how the killer grow up the wish was not there. There is also a lot of sexual things through out the book. When the secret is reveled it will shock you. I love how this book has that Hollywood vibe but also has a different side to it. I give this book 4 stars because somethings I felt was not needed. However I love his style of writing and the fact that he is so detailed. Plus the cover of the book is so pretty I recommend this book for Teens to adult.

I won this book about 2 years ago in a contest on goodreads and in return I was asked to do a review. My review is also on goodreads. It was my first book singed by an author so pleased. So I want to give a big think you to Billy Joile for sending me this book to review.

Cinnamon Roll Muder By Joanne Fluke

Information from inside the book jacket:
April is a busy time for Hannah Swenson and her bakery; there's just something about the warm weather that makes folks in Lake Eden crave something sweet When Hannah hears that the Cinnamon Roll Six jazz band will be playing at the town's Weekend Jazz Festival, she's more than happy to bake up a generous supply of their namesake confections to welcome the band to town.

Before the festival even begins, tragedy strikes when the Cinnamon Roll Six's tour bus overturns on its way into town. Among those injured is Buddy Neiman, the band's beloved keyboard player. At first Buddy's injuries appear minor, until his condition suddenly takes a turn for the worse--as in dead. Hannah's no doctor, but she suspects that the surgical scissors someone plunged into Buddy's chest may have something to do with it.

Once the investigation into Buddy's death begins, a slew of suspicious facts come to light. It turns out that Buddy Neiman isn't the victim's real name. In fact, no one is really sure who he is, or what secrets may be lurking in his past. Hannah also has her eye on a few local suspects. There's Doctor Bev, who seems to know more about the victim than she's willing to admit. And Devon Murphy, the aspiring young keyboard player who wanted a spot in the band so much, he just might have killed for it. Truth be told, Hannah isn't sure just how she'll unravel the mystery, but one thing's for sure: there's nothing sweeter than bringing a killer to justice.
 My review:
Cinnamon roll murder is the 15th book in the Hannah Swensen mystery series.I have loved this series for a long time and always can't wait for the next book to come out. This time around cinnamon roll murder did not meet my expectations.Hannah's involvement in the murder investigation  this time was weak. The murder was not really talked about like in the other books in the series. The book forced more on Hannah and her sisters trying to find dirt on Doctor Bev.I didn't like the way the book turned out to be in the end.I hope the next book is better. There was some funny parts in the book that made you lol (laugh out loud),but in the end I wish it was better. At the end of some chapters there is recipes(22 recipes). At the end of the book there is a recipe index and baking conversion chart.
