Taco Bake

It was my day to cook dinner for my family so I came up with a pasta taco bake.It is a semi quick pasta dish that I wanted to share with you all.Give it a try and let me know what you think.

You will need: elbow macaroni , ground beef, onion, diced tomatoes, salt, cumin, pepper, chili powder, cheese, taco shells(can be left over), and black beans.
Cook the beef and add salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder and onion .I just eye balled the amount I thought I needed.

In the mean time boil water for the macaroni and when it is boiled Add the pasta.

After the meat is cooked I added the diced tomatoes and turned the heat to med-low.

Shred some cheese about 3-4 cups and break up about 4-5 taco shells.

Add the beans to the meat mixture and let heat through for about 3 minutes.

Darin the pasta and return it back to the pot.Add the meat mixture, cheese and some chili powder or taco seasoning.

Butter up a casserole dish and toast the taco shells.

Pour half the pasta in to the buttered dish then layer it with some cheese and taco shells.Pour the remaining pasta, cheese and taco shells. Bake it in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until the taco shells are a nice golden brown.when I plated the pasta I topped it with salsa and sour cream as well as hot peppers .I severed it with a nice green salad.Tell me what you think and the comments.Add don't be afrid to add stuff to it and make it your own.If you do add other things let me know so I can give it a try.

                                                            Have a nice day :)
