School
It seems like all my post these days are about school. I don't mean for it to be but it's the biggest thing that is happening in my life right now. You may remember when i said i will be graduating.....well that is not the case this spring. Apparently I have to take 7 more classes. Yeah not to happy about that. I had talk to any advisor the prior semester and she never metioned that I would need to take more classes then just microbiology. This is one reason why I can't wait to be done at this school. So un-organized and so un-professional. I need people who will take the time to explain to me what has to be done so I can succeed. I don't want to have to guess at what I have to do. If your my advisor give me the advice I need. So I won't be graduating unitl this time next year Insha'Allah. It sucks but it is the plan Allah has for me and He knows what is best for me. I just have to be patient

Short update
The last 3 weeks have been crazy busy. From projects to reports to a baby being born to my niece turning 5. I have been just so busy and I'm starting to stress. I don't want to and I'm trying not to but its not working out. On April 13 my little brother was born after weeks of waiting I will get to see him tomorrow. Today (April 14)my niece turned 5 which is crazy to think she's five already. I have a unknown bacteria report/project that I have been working on. InshaAllah I do well on it because I'm worried about it a lot. I a!so have a report that's do Sunday that I haven't touched. Top it all off finals are in a couple weeks and I don't feel ready. I need to destress my life but I don't know how to do it. What ways do y'all destress? I would love to hear what works for you. All right good bye:-)

5 things to do before bed
What do you do before bed? Do you have a routine that you do before you fall asleep? Each and everyone of us does we just might not know it. I know I do. So not that long ago I read a blog post (sadly i can't find it anymore) about 5 things to do before bed. It got me thinking about what I do before going to sleep each night. I thought "why not share them with ya'll today."So I'm going to share my 5 things to do before going to bed.
5 THINGS TO DO BEFORE BED
1. Make Du'a(pray)
Allah humma bis-mika aamu'tu wa aah'ya
which means: o Allah in your name,I die and I live
Hudhaifa(R.A) narrated when the Prophet(peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him) went to bed he would say this Dua'a.[Bukhari volume 8 book 75/326].
I say this dua'a every night along with the dua'a for protection of the fire. At the same time I ask Allah to forgive me and bless my family. To have mercy on the souls that have passed.
2.Recite Quran
I recite surah Nass,Falaq, and Ikhlaas.I also recite ayat Kursi. reciting Quran before sleeping puts me at ease and helps me to sleep.
3. Make a list of what to do tomorrow
I make a plan/list of all the things I need to have done or would like to get do the next day. This way I wake up with a plan of action and I don't have to lag around.
4.Gratitude
Think of all the things in my live that I'm grateful for and the blessing that have happened. I think of say thing good/wonderful that happened to me that day. Like today I got to spend time with my sisters and nieces who can always make me smile.
5.Stretch
I like to stretch before going to sleep just to help loosen my back and muscles some.
Those are my 5 things I do before bed but by no means is all that I do. If you would like to know what else I do comment done below and I might do a follow up. Also when your down there let me know your 5 things you do before bed. Thank you for read and bye bye for now.

Nivea in-shower body lotion
When I first saw an ad for in-shower body lotion I was like "There is no way that is going to work.""Does it really moisturise your skin?" "Won't water just wash off the lotion?" I wanted to give it a try but I didn't want to buy something and not like it. So I found a free sample somewhere online and received it 4-6 weeks later. There are 3 different in-shower lotions;hydrating, nourishing and smoothing. I asked to be sent the nourishing one which is for very dry skin. Due to the fact that it was winter time my skin was super dry so I figured something for very dry skin was just what I needed. The hydrating one is for normal to dry skin and smoothing is for dry skin. Each lotion has something that is unique to them that helps your skin. The hydrating lotion has sea minerals, nourishing has almond oil and smoothing has shea butter inside.
Well how does it work? Simple..With 3 easy steps:
1. Wash like you normally do and rinse off
2. Apply lotion
3.Rinse off,dry and go
I have to first say that I love lotion and I have tried ALOT of lotion. I'm quite picky about my lotion too. The in-shower body lotion has to be one of my top 3 lotions. That is saying a lot about the product right there.Hello its not top 5 its top 3. Why have I included it in my top 3? Well because.... it leaves my body feeling super soft and nourished. After the first time using it I could tell a difference in my skin. The lotion stayed on all day even with making wudu throughout the day. It was easy to apply and went on smooth. They recommend you wash the tub after taking a shower to try avoid slipping and also avoid putting it on the bottom of your foot. The only down side to this has to be the price.I love it but I'm not sure its worth almost $6 but I will be buying this in the future.
Have any of you tried in-shower body lotion? What where your thoughts? If you give this a try let me know what you thought.

How I plan 2015
I love planners and planning out things. It helps me to accomplish things that I would like to get done in a day, week, month or year. I have not as of yet brought an expensive planner but I don't feel you have to. This year I brought a $1 pink weekly planner from the dollar store. Last year I brought a kitten :) wall calender also from the dollar store and the year before that I used paper and made my own. If you make your own your making it the way you want so your getting more from it but, it is time consuming. Today I'm going to share with you how I plan and maybe you will pick up some tips along the way. Share some of your tips in a comment I'll love to hear them as I'm always watching videos on planning.Let's get planning.......
Since I'm in school my planner is based off what I have to do that week/month for school. To help me plan out my week/month I first look at what I have to do for each class and when its due. I try to plan for 2 weeks in advance to 3 weeks but since I'm in school somethings are planned for months like my final(not looking forward to that).
I love InkJoy pens and to plan I NEED InkJoy pens. I love that they come in a rainbow of colors so I can color code. I love for everything I'm doing to have color. So for important things it has to be in the color red and for studying religion it has to be light blue. In the planner there is a note section and in the section I made a color code so I can make sure I write the right things in the right color. Like I say before red is important, light blue is religion, pink is for lab, purple is for lecture, orange is for business class, light green is for blog, light purple is other, and dark green is ASL(American Sign Language). The colors that I'm using for school right now will change when I'm done this semester. On the note page I also have tutoring hours for this semester just in case I need it.
The planner is set up with a week spread on 2 pages. So you see 3 days on one side and 4 on the other. I have another system that goes along with my planner and it involves a piece of paper. On the piece of paper I write the day and under that I write out what has to be done that day. As I complete the task I cross it off and if don't complete the task I just move it to the next day. On the paper I don't just write what has to be done for school but other task I have to get done.
It helps me a lot to have my task/ plans written out for me to see then it does to have it on my phone or computer. How do you plan? What way works best for you? Computer? Phone? Tablet? Writen out? I would love to hear from you so leave a comment and have a wonderful day:-)

College studying tip's
Today lant to share some ways that I study for exams. This way may not work for everyone this is just what works for me. Share some of your studying tips in the comments I would love to hear them. Till next time.......Assalmualkium.
1.Be organized. If you don't have any organized space /place to work your thoughts and you will be running all over the place. Set/take out everything you need to study.
2. Print out your study guide. If you instructor provides you with a study guide....USE IT! A study guide gives you an outline of place/what to study and it helps to bring you in where you need to be so your not study all over the place.
3.Snacks on hand. I think its good to have snacks on hand but healthy ones. Like pretzels, fruit, crackers, etc. I like to have my pretzels or apple with peanut butter or dark chocolate. I gives you a nice boast of energy.
4. Plan out what to study on which days.As you may see on the picture where I circled at that it says Thursday. What I do is take my study guide see what I need to study and estimate how much time I need to study that subject matter. I plan my studying based on how many days I have until the test so that each day I'm doing something until the test.
5. Write a summary for each chapter. When I'm reading the chapter s I write a summary for each section in that chapter. At the end of the chapter I have a summary of the whole chapter and I staple the pages together. When its time to study that chapter I reread the summary. Now in the back of my chapters I have outline summary that they give you of what was in the chapter. I use that also to review each chapter.
6.Use color. Write in color, highlight in color, and note take in color. If you use a different color for each chapter it helps with remembering where you saw something. I guess this may only work if your a visual learner but I don't know. I'm a little ocd about color coding.
7. Review notes. Just has it say review ALL notes you have taken.
8. Ask teacher what to expect on the test. There is no harm in asking what to look forward to on the test. There being paid to teach and help you learn the subject matter so use them. My teacher told us 'I love it when you guys ask me questions because its my job to answer them'.
9. Watch videos. YouTube has videos on almost every subject matter. I like to do this before going to class as well so I have an idea of what to do or what is to come. If you couldn't get the help from your teacher try watching a video it might just help you..
10. Ask yourself or have someone ask you questions. If you make some questions based on the subject you are doing or something you read it helps with your understanding. Turn a statement into a question. A website I use to help keep track of my questions and to see other peoples questions on the subject matter is quizlet.com
It gives you the ability to make questions and study them all in the same place. They even have it where you can take a test with the questions you made.plus its most of it is free and as a college study you know free is best. There is also other sites like cram.com,studyshack and studyblue.com.

I'm back !!!!!!!
Oh how I have missed writing on this blog. I thought about it almost everyday. I wanted/needed to get back to writing on here. So much has happened like a year new and growing up. Yes growing up.. I am now a 24 year old women looking to grow even more in knowledge.
About three months ago I went on a mission to find out about changing my blog over to wordpress.com and as much as I loved what I found I feel its not for me at this time. Anyway that is one of the big reasons I stepped away from my blog for a while. Along with finding out about WordPress I needed to find out way's to improve my blog so I can put the best me into it. I have ideas I want to share and more that will certainly come. This blog will not only be a place to share my ideas but a place for me to grow. Speaking of growing.....
Oh how much my nieces have grown. Time went by so fast that I can't believe that the little baby girl I saw born which feels like yesterday will be 5 in April! Then my second niece will be making 3! The baby will become a little big girl by turning 1! They grow so fast. Of course my siblings are getting older right along with them and we should be getting a new sibling soon. My family keeps growing which is blessing from Allah(God) that I'm so grateful for. My family can drive my crazy but I would never want to change them.
School has been going great this semester Alhamdulillaah. I am insha Allah on my last semester at a two year college with plans to transfer to another school to continue on my school journey. I don't know when this will be but Insha Allah before 2016. I'm looking at schools right and weighing out my options. I found some that sound really nice that might be the one for me. As of right now this semester I'm taking microbiology lecture, microbiology lab and a business class. I need to talk to a advisor and see if I need to do anything else before I graduate, which will be this coming May. My GPA is not where I would love for it to be so I might take another class for the half semester to help it out a little. I need to find out what I can do with the degree I will receive as no one talked to me about these things when I entered the school. Me being a young girl who didn't do her research upon entering needs to do it now.
My plan for this blog is to try an post once a week on Wednesdays. The types of post I do might alternate between baking, garden, reviews, a general chat like this, crafts and more. The next post I do might be a baking post or a college study tip post. I'm just glad to be back at blogging and can't wait to do more. So stay tuned people...:-)
